Why are we running in the City2Surf 2018?
St Canice’s Kitchen is proud to announce we will be running this year in the Sun Herald City 2 Surf to help raise awareness for the work that we do in the kitchen, providing 120 meals, 7 days a week for the homeless and disadvantaged community.
We already have two supporters to have signed up to run: Lynelle our Parish Manager and Hana our new Community Relations Officer. They have both been working hard to raise money and most importantly, spread awareness of the work the Kitchen does, into their local communities and with their friends and family.
How can I get Involved?
Sharing through Social Media and Family/Friends
The most important thing you can do is to share our City 2 Surf fundraising page on your social media and to your friends and family. You can view the page here:
Joining the team and running in the City 2 Surf with us
If you would like to join the City 2 Surf running team please email us so we can send you the instructions on joining our team. It is important that you follow our instructions as it may be a little confusing to sign up to our group. We have written instructions with pictures that can help you guide your way through the sign up website. Please not there is a $77 sign up fee to run with us.
How to donate to our team!
If you still want to participate but don’t want to run the race, or don’t want to pay the $77 sign up fee, we would love if you could donate to our cause. Donations can start as low as $5 and every little bit counts. All funds raised will be used to help pay for guest meals in the kitchen. We would really appreciate your support, you can click on the link above and press the green ‘give now’ button to make a donation.
